Who are we?

We started The Auction Stack because too much of what passes for trader education today is either nostalgia or hype. The pits are gone, but the auction that the trading floor was built on is the same one driving electronic markets today. AI changed the tools. It didn't change the tape.

Between us we work from England, Australia, Arizona, Chicago, New York, and Florida. Five time zones that span the global auction from the Asia session to the New York close. Every founding member is Series 3 qualified. Each of us teaches the era we lived through and the methods we still trade today.

Anne-Marie Baiynd

Equities & Stock Options - Gamma Flows, S/R & Fibonacci

Anne-Marie Baiynd is an equities and stock options trader, renowned author, and educator who trades both intraday and swing timeframes. Her methodology combines classical technical analysis - support and resistance, Fibonacci levels - with modern options-flow analysis: dealer positioning, gamma exposure, and the option-driven mechanics that shape equity price action. Her edge sits where the chart and the options chain meet - reading how gamma flows, hedging behavior and volatility positioning interact with structural levels.

Her path into markets is an unusual one. Anne-Marie began her professional career as a neuroscience researcher, following her studies in Mathematical and Behavioral Statistics. The quantitative discipline stayed with her, but her path led somewhere entirely different - into the world of equities and stock options trading, where she built her reputation as a trader and educator.

She is the author of The Trading Book, a widely read guide to the technical, structural and psychological pillars of trading - and the work that established her as one of the most recognized voices in retail equities education.

Her focus areas include:

  • Equities and stock options trading across intraday and swing timeframes
  • Support and resistance, and Fibonacci levels - the structural map of price
  • Gamma flows, dealer positioning, and the mechanics of options-driven price action
  • Combining technical levels with options-flow context for higher-conviction setups
  • Trader psychology and process - drawing on her behavioral statistics background

Paying it forward seemed best once successful, reliable trading came to stay. The course of action for Anne-Marie was simple:

"Become a successful trader, and teach EVERYTHING I learned to the trader who came to learn. Simple as that. I am here to remove the blindfolds."

For Auction Stack, Anne-Marie brings the equities and stock options pillar - pairing classical S/R and Fibonacci work with gamma-flow analysis across intraday and swing timeframes - alongside an educational philosophy built on transparency and shared knowledge.

Deeyana Angelo

Energies & Metals - Auction Theory

Deeyana Angelo is a commodities trader with two decades of experience in global futures and options, specializing in energy and metals. Her process is rooted in auction theory and Market Profile, and she runs both discretionary and algorithmic strategies.

Before charts, there were chords. Deeyana built her first career as a session guitarist on the London live and studio circuit, performing with Rod Stewart, Girls Aloud, and as a hired player in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar. In 2007 she began trading her own capital alongside her music work, and by 2013 she had traded her guitar pedals for charts full-time, moving from independent trader to full-time professional trader.

That step took her to Infinium Capital Management in Chicago, where she was first introduced to the auction framework that has underpinned her work ever since. On returning to London, she joined the UK desk of First New York, continuing in energies and metals within an institutional environment.

Her expertise sits at the intersection of four areas:

  • Energy and metals futures
  • Options trading, including gamma, dealer positioning and volatility structure
  • Auction-theory-driven discretionary trading
  • Algorithmic strategy design - building, backtesting and deploying systematic edges grounded in the same principles that drive her discretionary work

Beyond the trading desk, Deeyana is the managing director of Blahtech Limited, the London-based fintech company behind her trading tools. Blahtech designs innovative price-action indicators for NinjaTrader - including the flagship Blahtech Supply Demand (SD) and Blahtech Market Profile (MP) indicators - and has provided software architecture services to investment banks for two decades.

She holds the FINRA Series 3 qualification and has previously held the CISI Investment Advice Diploma (IAD).

Deeyana teaches her methodology through Market Stalkers - the CPD-certified trader education program she founded - and streams live on her YouTube channel, @MarketStalkers.

Today, Deeyana researches new edges in the energy and metals space and is one of six partners behind Auction Stack - a venture dedicated to teaching traders how to apply auction theory, Initial Balance structure, gamma positioning and volume-based confirmation in modern markets.

Scott Manzara (HOOP)

Livestock & Futures - CME Floor Veteran & Auction Market Principles

Scott Manzara (HOOP) combines agricultural roots, CME floor trading experience, and modern futures market expertise into a unique trading perspective developed over decades of market participation. From learning about grain and livestock production on his grandparents' 1,000-acre Illinois farm to trading in the CME's most active commodity pits and later navigating electronic futures markets, Scott has experienced the markets from both the producer's and trader's viewpoints.

Raised in Chicago, Scott spent much of his youth on his grandparents' 1,000-acre farm in Central Illinois, which operated for more than 50 years. The farm produced corn and soybeans while raising cattle and hogs, providing him with firsthand exposure to the agricultural economy and the industries that drive commodity markets.

Building on that agricultural foundation, Scott began his professional career at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) during the open-outcry era. He first worked as a Trading Pit Clerk in the Pork Belly Pit, gaining firsthand exposure to the fast-paced environment of floor trading and learning the mechanics of the futures markets from the ground up. He later worked as an Outtrade Clerk for First Options and Rand Financial, where he gained valuable experience in trade reconciliation, clearing operations, and exchange procedures. This hands-on experience provided him with a strong understanding of both the operational and trading sides of the futures industry.

After learning the business from the inside, Scott advanced to become a local trader on the CME floor, trading under the badge symbol HOOP. He traded in some of the exchange's most active commodity pits, including the Goldman Sachs Commodity Index (GSCI) Pit and the CME Meat Quadrant, specializing in Live Cattle, Lean Hogs, and Pork Bellies futures. Trading in these highly competitive environments provided him with a deep understanding of market psychology, order flow, risk management, and price discovery.

Following his years on the trading floor, Scott transitioned into the brokerage industry as a Commodities Broker with Western Federal Group in Scottsdale, Arizona. In that role, he worked with clients trading futures, equities, and precious metals, helping them identify opportunities and manage risk across multiple markets.

As the futures industry evolved from open-outcry to electronic trading, Scott continued to adapt and refine his approach to the markets. In 2010, during the early years of the funded futures trading industry, he began trading proprietary futures accounts. Through years of participation in the electronic futures markets, he developed a disciplined trading methodology centered on auction market principles, market structure, and risk management.

Today, Scott combines the unique perspectives of agricultural roots, CME floor trading experience, commodities brokerage, and proprietary futures trading to provide traders with practical market knowledge built through decades of real-world experience. Through Auction Stack, he shares insights gained from a lifetime in the markets, helping traders better understand auction market dynamics, order flow, market structure, and disciplined risk management.

Vincent Capria

Equity Indices, Metals & Energy - CTA, Former Introducing Broker & Auction Market Theory

Vincent Capria is a futures trader, former introducing broker, and Commodity Trading Advisor with more than two decades of experience in the financial markets. His path to professional trading began in grade school, when he won a class stock-picking contest with Motorola, posting a return of more than 50%. Family ties to the COMEX and NYMEX pits nurtured that early interest and kept him close to the futures markets.

In 2005, Vincent earned his Series 3 and Series 30 licenses. From 2005 through 2010, he ran a branch office for a full-service futures and options firm, clearing through Crossland, Wedbush, RJ O'Brien, Straits and Dorman, and specializing in broker-assisted trading and managed futures programs. In 2010, he launched his own introducing brokerage and registered as a CTA, working with traders on market structure, risk management, and the psychology of consistent trading.

Vincent is a hybrid discretionary trader. His approach combines technical analysis, pattern recognition, Auction Market Theory, Market Profile, Volume Profile, and price action - reading how the market is auctioning, where value is developing, and when structure creates higher-probability opportunities, rather than relying on a single indicator or rigid system.

He trades equity index futures, metals, energy, and currencies, and teaches traders to apply the same framework - with visual market reading, repeatable process, and disciplined risk management. For Auction Stack, Vincent brings CTA experience and a practitioner's focus on diagnosing the auction process in the live markets.

Aaron Luce

Futures - The Reactive Execution System

Aaron Luce, known online as Aaron Trades, is a full-time funded futures trader, traveling trader, and content creator. He built The Reactive Execution System - a rule-based, reactive framework for reading liquidity, market structure, and price action as they unfold, not predicting what comes next. It underpins his own trading and the mentorship he runs for funded and aspiring funded traders.

Every weekday he broadcasts the London open on YouTube, Aaron Trades, narrating Gold, NQ, ES and other futures in real time - wins, losses, drawdowns and discipline. The system grew out of seven years in the markets, designed to replace hesitation, impulse, and prediction with a structural process traders can run the same way every day.

Aaron's core concepts include trading reactively, by reading liquidity first, anchoring the analysis to higher timeframe context and focusing on one or two high probability setups per session.

Aaron founded The Traders Club and teaches at aarontrades.io. For Auction Stack, Aaron brings the funded-trader perspective, the rule-based execution pillar, and a live-streamed, community-first teaching voice - strategy taught in real time on the London open.
